Nicole & Chris - Wedding Highlights

January 15th, 2009 . by paul

We loved every minute filming Nicole and Chris’s wedding!  It was the most relaxing wedding that we have filmed.  We have not seen a more relaxed wedding couple than Nicole and Chris!  We captured so many great shots that day it was tough when having to pick the best shots to be included in the highlight!  Sunshine, water, bridges, boats, lovely people, good food, happiness - cannot ask for more … the only thing missing was Keifer!  Although Keifer could not be there, I hope he will enjoy the video!

We thank Nicole and Chris for letting us capture this important day of their life and honoured to be part of it to witness the union of this truly special couple!

Melinda and Neal

December 10th, 2008 . by paul

We had a great time filming Melinda and Neal. They had their wedding ceremony at the beautiful Celebration Pavilion in Queen Elizabeth Park. We like filipino weddings a lot. This wedding was no different, there was a lot of dancing and singing.

Melinda and Neal, thanks for the wine!

A day at UniverCity

October 3rd, 2008 . by paul

UniverCity - This is where our home office is located. We went for a stroll in the area last month and took some very nice footage of the surroundings. Being in the midst of nature, this place is so peaceful, yet so convenient! Burnaby Mountain is one of the best places to watch sunset in the city. Don’t you think so??

This year, the community is one of the finalist running for the United Nation LivCom Awards. This video will be presented at the Finals from 6-10 Nov, 2008. I hope that it will help our community in winning the award!

Jenny & Leon - Wedding Trailer

September 26th, 2008 . by paul

Lots of singing and dancing at Jenny & Leon’s wedding! We had the pleasure of enjoying a bride singing to the groom at a wedding last year. This time, it is the groom singing to the bride - equally touching! Two thumbs up for you, Leon!

The sun was very bright during the photo session at the beach. Contrary to what most people think, a sunny sky actually poses difficulty in filming due to the high lighting contrast. But with the excellent “performance” by the wedding couple (they were very natural when asked to perform certain poses), we managed to use the sun to our advantage and captured some unique and romantic shots.

The dove release was a beautiful way to conclude the ceremony. Didn’t know that doves can be so well trained that they actually circle the church 3 times before returning home to Abbotsford!

Danice & Yuk - our first Chinese + Korean wedding

September 21st, 2008 . by paul

This is our second time filming at Four Seasons Whitsler - cannot ask for a more beautiful backdrop for a wedding!

Danice and her girlfriends cannot be more bubbly!  Mesmerized by their laughter, we captured way too much footage of these lovely ladies - spent so much time trying to pick the best shots during editing!

The photographers and us didn’t have to make any effort to make this couple laugh!  Everything Yuk said brought on a big smile on everybody’s face!

There were a lot of happy tears throughout the reception.  I was so touched during the speeches and slideshows, where Danice & Yuk displayed their genuine love for their family and friends.  I hope everyone who watches our video can also feel the love this couple has for each other, their family and their friends!

The dance performance by the world-class hip hop group was amazing!  I picked up a few good moves while editing!

Trailer - Tammy & Ali

September 15th, 2008 . by paul

This wedding had a touch of both Chinese and Persian culture with the Chinese tea ceremony and the Persian knife dance.

There was still a bit of snow on the road when we left for Tammy & Ali’s wedding.  By the time we arrived at Tammy’s place, the sun had come out.  Some late-blooming Cherry blossoms could still be spotted on some streets.

Tammy and Ali are both very easy going and cheerful - always smiling and laughing!  They made filming this wedding relaxing and fun!

Ali, if you see us speeding, please have mercy on us and spare us the ticket!

Trailer - Gloria & Simon

September 2nd, 2008 . by paul

Gloria & Simon had a church ceremony and a reception at Kirin Seafood Restaurant in Richmond.

There was some drizzle during the photo session which allowed us to capture some romantic shots of Gloria & Simon in the rain!

Great speeches from everyone, especially Simon (did not know he had such humour in him!).  Never a boring moment while editing their speeches!

The newlyweds will be celebrating their marriage again with friends and family in Hong Kong this month.  We are so honoured that they will be showing our video at their 2nd wedding banquet in Hong Kong.  Wish them all the joy at the upcoming banquet and hope their guests will enjoy our video!

Featured in Wedluxe

August 20th, 2008 . by paul

We had the pleasure of filming See Kwan & Aaron’s wedding, which is featured in the current issue of Wedluxe Magazine.  Their photo session was one of the most fun to film - had no trouble getting them to kiss!  Although See Kwan planned the wedding remotely (outside Vancouver), she did a splendid job.  Everything was so organized we had time to enjoy the full 5-course delicious dinner!  Everything at this wedding was as beauuuutiful as the bride!

The sky is the limit

July 31st, 2008 . by paul

Driving by a beach during our San Francisco road trip in May, we were mesmerized by beautiful kites playfully flying at a distance.  Although we were tight on time, we could not resist but pulled over to watch some more.

The sky was grey but brightened up by the colourful kites and the kite flyers’ warm smiles.

Joan, it was a pleasure meeting you!  Thanks for giving us a short interview.  Keep flying!  You light up the beaches and the sky!
